Most aircraft and engine lease returns are accomplished at the contractual end of lease term; however, some returns occur due to early termination events of a loan or lease. Regardless, attention to detail is of paramount importance.

If the return is under early termination of a loan, STAR Aero Services ensures that the lender obtains all to which it is entitled under the law.
Whether under early termination or regularly scheduled termination as per the lease, we review, validate and vet the numerous necessary details required prior to taking delivery of the aircraft, including:
- Careful inspection of the asset and records to assure specific compliance with the terms and conditions of the lease, and
- Assessment of the maintenance conditions of the asset – engines, APU, landing gear and airframe along with the necessary records to confirm performed maintenance.
Once the asset is accepted by the lessor from the lessee, all maintenance due on the asset becomes the responsibility of the lessor.
